Billy Adamsen

Dr. Billy Adamsen serves as the Director of European Operations for O2K Worldwide Management Group. Dr. Adamsen will oversee all aspects of O2K's business, contract negotiations, sports marketing, player development and wealth management in Europe.

Dr. Adamsen recently was the Executive Director for the brand new multimillion dollar Malmo arena in Malmo, Sweden. The arena currently serves as the home for the Malmo Red Hawks. Dr. Adamsen is also a Partner in Denmark’s oldest Public Relation and Public Affairs agency, Sylvester Hvid & Co. and serves on various government boards and committees in Scandinavia and Europe.

Dr. Adamsen is well respected for his work in amateur and professional hockey throughout Scandinavia and Europe. In his past he’s served as an Executive Director for a Danish Ice Hockey Club and for various sporting events and organizations throughout the world.

In addition to Dr. Adamsen’s passion for hockey, he has also worked within politics and science. For more than 6 years he was the personal Adviser to the Danish Prime Minister and has been Adviser for The British Labour Government. Dr. Adamsen was a Professor at the University of Copenhagen and Copenhagen Business School where he conducted research on subjects such as Politics, Management and Communication, Culture, Media and Mass Communication and Sports Psychology and Language. He is an author and has published more than five books on these subjects and is an expert on how to turn organizations into a winning organization with a winning culture and image.

Dr. Adamsen has a Bachelor degree in Language Psychology, Master Degree in Mass Communication, Media & Culture and a PhD in Politics, Management and Communication from the University of Copenhagen. He has also been a research student at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) where he conducted research on Media, Politics and Sports.
