
Magnus Ramstrom
Magnus Ramstrom serves as the Manager of Player Development in Europe. His primary responsibilities include scouting and evaluating prospective professional athletes in Europe, and assisting in the day to day management of O2K Europe. In addition, Ramstrom also oversees O2K’s European player development.
At 17 Ramstrom left Stockholm for Chicago where he played hockey and went to school with Matt Oates and Eustace King. During his time in Chicago he also began coaching, which he continued in Sweden, coaching at the highest level in junior hockey in both Sweden and Norway. Ramstrom worked for Djurgårdens youth and junior department where he was involved with coaching and player development. He won a national championship with Djurgården. Ramstrom has also worked for Frisk/Asker, in Norway, in the development program for both players and coaches.
Ramstrom has a wealth of knowledge and experience in coaching and in player development. In the spring and summer Ramstrom is involved with Howe Hockey development program, where youth players from all over the world come to the camp, play in international youth tournaments, and interact socially. Ramstrom also worked for ISS (International Scouting Service) as their representative in Europe.
Ramstrom attended the University of North Park, Chicago and received his bachelor’s degree in International Business and Finance.
