Koletrane Wilson AHL Deal with Stockton Heat
Lethbridge, AB - The American Hockey League's Stockton Heat announced Tuesday that they have signed Lethbridge Hurricanes defenseman Koletrane Wilson to a contract for the 2020-2021 season.
Wilson, 20, was originally drafted by the Hurricanes in the fourth round (84th overall) in the 2014 Western Hockey League Bantam Draft. The product of Edmonton, Alberta suited up for the Hurricanes in parts of four seasons totaling 190 career regular-season games collecting 63 points (11g-52a) along with 233 penalty minutes and a plus-67 rating. He also appeared in 26 career post-season games amassing three assists with 12 penalty minutes and a plus-1 rating.
The 6'3, 220-pound defenseman skated in 62 regular-season games during the shortened 2019-2020 campaign setting career highs in goals (8), assists (25), and points (25) while collecting 90 penalty minutes and a plus-28 rating. Over his final two seasons in the WHL, Wilson totaled 52 points (8g-44a) along with 210 penalty minutes and an impressive plus-68 rating in 130 games.
