Jason Zucker's first three games with the Buffalo Sabres were pretty quiet, as he failed to record a point in each of them. However, he has undoubtedly shaken off the rust since then, as he has been heating up big time.

Over his last five games, Zucker has recorded five assists and a plus-2 rating. While he is still looking for his first goal as a Sabre, there is no question that he is starting to make a notable impact with his playmaking. He has also played a role in the Sabres winning three out of their last five games.

When the Sabres signed Zucker to a one-year, $5 million contract this past off-season, the hope was that he would provide them with some much-needed secondary offensive production. He has undoubtedly given them just that so far, and it will be fun to see how well he builds off it from here.

During this past season, Zucker has 14 goals, 32 points, 81 penalty minutes, and 98 hits in 69 games split between the Arizona Coyotes and Nashville Predators.
