SCOTTSDALE, ARIZONA - Arizona Coyotes General Manager Bill Armstrong announced today that the Coyotes have signed defenseman Troy Stecher to a one-year contract. Per club policy, terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

"We are very pleased to have Troy back with the Coyotes this season," said Armstrong. "He is a veteran defenseman who skates well, competes hard, and can move the puck effectively. He will be a solid addition to our blueline."

The 29-year-old Stecher returns for his second stint with the Coyotes after signing with the club prior to the 2022-23. Last season, he registered 0-7-7 with 29 penalty minutes (PIM) in 61 games prior to being traded to the Calgary Flames ahead of the trade deadline.
