Before joining O2K, Olivier Labelle concluded a successful sixteen-year professional hockey career. Prior to going pro, Labelle was drafted in the first round of the 2002 Quebec Junior Major Hockey League (QJMHL) by the Gatineau Olympiques where he won two President’s Cups. Olivier was invited to five NHL training camps and played almost 1,000 professional games. His hockey career spans the AHL, ECHL, and the top league in Austria & France.

Concurrently, in 2013 he co-founded École de Hockey Olivier Labelle (EHOL), a Quebec-based youth hockey program. EHOL established elite camps for top local talent, procured skills workshops to develop young players, and launched a scholastic hockey program in Kangiqsualujjuaq. After forming a bond with the Inuit community of Kangiqsualujjuaq in northern Quebec, EHOL partnered with the school in 2017 to bring the children a structured hockey foundation. This collaboration has been one of EHOL’s most profound partnerships as it inspires the connectivity of people and community.

Olivier currently lives in Reading, Pennsylvania with his wife, Jennifer, and dedicates his time between the Northeast US & the province of Quebec.
